has this ever happened to you

i have a stock exhaust on my zook and have cracked a weld where all my pipes meet together. just thought that was odd
i cheap fix i did was i ran a welded down the crack with the mig and good as new
i realise extractors will be better fix but the $$$$ is the issue!!!!
