Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I was wondering if any one has any info on the Mitsubishi express 4x4 vans 1989 till 1997 models .It has the 2.4 litre injected motor.I know it won't go far offroad, but does anyone know if they have many issues with them.I know ive seen afew in papers with recon motors/heads and don't know if its cause people are lazy lifting the seat to check the oil level or the motors are just crap?? Does anyone know?

They're essentially a Pajero chassis, so they're more capable off-road than most people will credit them. They look big, but have a short wheelbase, so ramp-over turning circle can be good - approach and departure can be a let-down.

Search here (and Google) for "Delica" - you should find more information on mods and capabilities, I think there's even a forum for them.

Uncle had one after his MQ shorty. He kept it a lot longer too, whcih may tell you something. A lot more room for camping and still get you most places you'd want to take young kids.

what are they rated to tow?
