Im looking to replace the current springs on my defender with something a bit more appropriate, was considering either lovells +2 or OME +2,

At the moment the OME are twice the price ish of the lovells,I have no experiance of either so i thought id ask here....

Anyone?

Stay away from OME.

Lovells are excellent springs, as are Dobinsons.

I have 2" Lovells springs and Dobinsons shocks on my Fender.

EFS are also worth looking at.

without any discount (trade) the lovells are £60 ish a pair, the OME being £55+ ish each,

was away out playing today & poped the rear springs out a few times, currently have +2 procomp shocks all round which IMO are good for what im doing, its just the current springs are a tad soft & have settled a bit

ive had bad experience with ome aswell, it took 3 times till they finally got genuine 2 '' lift under me, first time it actually was 5 mm lower ,and the vehicle had no exture wieght apart from bulbar and towbar, 2nd set sor it at 30mm up, this was the heaviest duty, not happy, then they had to specially order a set which had ridiculus dia tube, with this flash progressive rate, these proved nothing but crap got 50mm but mosil of driven a tractor, terrible ride and still needed polyairs in the rear after fitting a rear bar, last time ive spent thousands on ome for some thing that really doesnt give altimate suspen ride and travel compared to competitors.
