turbo , supercharger .... NOS

change the pistons , values , cold ar intake for turbo/supercharger

but you sure its power you want ..... or maybe your gearing is out of wack with those 35's on :?:

Don't know about "Thigh Cams" but as to Tighe Cams I can only comment on the grind I had done for mine which was designed around my setup. I also fitted an adjustable cam pulley at the same time and had it dialled in on a dyno so I cannot attribute all gains in the way it drove to the cam but in conjunction with the exhaust system I already had I was very pleased with the way the Vit went on 31's. It felt more like it used to perform stock. The downside was I did have a broken rocker that was possibly caused by the grind as it was a grind only with no additional material added to the cam and the angles were possibly too much. Somebody else alerted me to this fact as they had learn't the hard way and were organising some parts to improve the reliability but I rolled it before I got a chance to do that. Also, the turnaround on the grind went from days to weeks. Luckily I had another vehicle to use in the interim.

But it did get up and go :D

Where did you get hold of this? And would it make much difference to a stock cam?

I was looking doing a cam like my ol 1.3 but dont know if can be bothered doing the full thing.

Does the adjustable cam gears make a difference

The adjustable cam gear does not actually create any more power but it gives you the ability to shift the torque/power curve up or down the rev range. As an example and not using real figures say your engine develops 100Nm @ 3500rpm and and 80Nm @ 3000rpm and 60nm @ 2500rpm. Now by adjusting the cam timing you could have it developing 100Nm @ 3000rpm and 80Nm @ 2500rpm. This has effectively increased the torque available to you at 3000rpm by 25% and also your torque at 2500rpm has jumped nicely too. The plus is your engine is still the same as before but now you have more power/torque available to you where you want it. The downside is that for example your engine may have developed peak power at 6000rpm, now it is at 5500rpm. Personally I quite like this sort of engine mod for our application. Of course you can still be adding a different cam and intake and exhaust for even more improvements and ideally you should spend the money to get it all dialled in on a dyno for optimal performance. The cheap way to go is to just shift your cam belt one tooth on the pulley but there is no adjustability for fine tuning but this has proven effective on the 8v 1.6 and therefore may be something to consider for the 8v 1.3. You will also want to have a look at your ignition timing at the same time.

I sourced mine from Adam at OCC Racing in Canada as he offered a good price and a good quality product. I think the email was sales@occracing.com but not 100% sure. You may be able to track him down via the Team Swift forum. I think Suzisport also offers one but it was dearer and there was also a guy in Melbourne I could have got one from but it was dearer too and the finish wasn't as good. Hope this helps.

If I recall it was about the $120 to $130 mark. Give them a call and find out as they'll know exactly.
