Did a search, couldnt find anything relevant.
I want to create my own rear bar which will eventually act as mount for part of an exo cage and also have a swingaway tyre/jerry carrier. I need to know how most other people have mounted them. Im thinking weld a drilled and tapped 10mm thick plate into the end of the chassis rail, and have that as part of the mount, then have a nother couple of mounts somewhere down teh chassis rail? Pics would be good. Ta

I sandwiched my rear bar mounts between the tow bar mounts and the chasis on the bottom, and used the body mount bolts at the top.
Pretty muck like the shrockworks unit here:

For those too lazy to look here is the relevant pics from that artical
I made the bumper from 100x200 rhs and cut the inside profile out with a plasma cutter to wrap aroun the rear quarters , the scrap I used for infill on the ends.
I mounted LED lights in the new bar.

I made a tube bar and mounted it the same way. Proves to be very strong so far. Just use thick steel to mount it and you should be right.

Used same mounting points as towbar for my tube, incorporated towbar for extra tank protection.
