late 80s landcruisers?

wat year did the 80 come out with the multi valve turbo disel. and did it come with a manual. wat was the power rating for it? i heard this model got good fuel ecconomy.
1995 was the first year of the 1HD-FT powered HDJ80's. Manual & Auto's available. 125kW & 380Nm IIRC.
Like all the factory TD's they will get good economy when the fuel system is in top nick and you haven't lifted and / or loaded them excessively.
