Not hugely, theres 10 body mount nuts you need to undo, then any parts of wiring loom that go from body to engine/chassis including the gearbox wires, theres several earth wires at the back lights, clutch cable, throttle cable, brake lines, radiator, umm thats bout it from memory. Takes an hourish and if you have a sling and forklift its even easier.

Get a carton round and 3 mates and lift body off when all disconnected.
Remember you will always miss a wire or two. watch out for the brake lines.

If they are both the same year then yes, may be some wiring difrernces but should be easy to work out.
Both 1.3 then should be ok, slight differeces only.

I put a 84 NT Hartop body on a 89 WT softtop chassis, so there shouldnt be any problems there. Except for the rear bar tho, i cant mount the rear bar back on so you will propably need custom mounts or make a decent bar of your own as an excuse.
