lightweight on 37's int tweed heads area?

i have a mate that drops his kids off in the tweed heads/burleigh area (QLD) and has seen and spoken to a fellow there that has imported his lightweight on a rangie chassis with 37's on it 
he is apparently waiting on his engineering cerificate for it then can wheel with us!!!!
does anyone know of this vehicle??
apparently it has been totally rebuilt, ground up...
