The gas on my dual fuel rangie is gutless, supposedly it is running to rich as the adjusting screw in the mixer doesn't seem to work, has anyone had any good experiences with gas places around mornington vic.

Toorak Tractors in Braeside have a fair bit of knowledge with rangies and gas, you could try them.

If its running too rich, fitting a lean idle shim in the converter should bring your adjustment screw back into range... you really can't tune gas without an exhaust analyser though.

Theres a guy in Carrum Downs who plays with big horse power cars on gas, he has a dyno and could probably help, his company is called Auto Gas Connection at Fact 12, 27-29 Aster Ave, 97751331.
I had a MQ Patrol LWB with a WB Holden 308(Standard), Turbo 700, with GQ transfer case that he fitted gas to for me and he did a great job with getting it to hum along.
Hope this helps. :)
