ScanGauge II

I just tried a newly delivered ScanGaugeII (http://www.scangauge.com) on my 2002 Toyota Landcruiser FZJ105R GXL (4.5 petrol six cylinder 1FZ-FE with A442F auto).
Doesn't work - just says "communicating..." and doesn't do anything else.
Anyone know what OBD protocol this vehicle uses?
Is it OBD, OBDII, EOBD, CAN?
VPW, ISO, PWM?
Have they been to Australia and/or fixed this problem yet?
...Otherwise, does anyone want to buy it off me?
I know it works on a Nissan D40 Pathfinder and Navara.
It's 1 day old. I'm in Canberra, ACT.
