i got a turbo for my mq patrol

just wondering what needs to be done beside just boltin the manifold and turbo on

i hear something like oil lines to the turbo etc ...
can this be done from a normal sd33 motor or does the sd33t have special bits that i dont have

im kinda thinking the oil line can be tapped into the alternator/oil pump unit

any help would be great

I have done this mod recently all myself. You will have to run the turbo drain straight to the sump, and yes the oil feed can be run off the vacum pump oil feed, just use a tee fitting at the block. As for the sump, remove and drill a hole, weld on a 90degree pipe that has to come 100mm out from the sump to line up with turbo drain. There are a couple of intake mods that need to be done if you wish to use the original diesel pump and throttle body configuration, the turbo inlet manifold is oval at the inlet end, the N/A manifold is round so you will have to build an adaptor flange, so the throttle body can be retained (also put BOV boss on this flange). then you can still use the to vacume lines that regulate throttle on the diesel pump. There is pics of the set-up and lines in my build-up on the members page, I can e-mail a couple of pics too if needed
Pm me for more info/details if you need
