Hole saw mate! Or gas axe it. ;)

Hole saw would be a good idea.
Gas axe would work too, only not so neat :D

If you don't want to afford a holesaw, maybe a local metal fab will help out for 50 bucks one lunch time.

Cheers

I think i did mine by drilling a hole big enough to fit a jigsaw blade and jigsawed it :) Though it can be a bit difficult doing it this way.

I think you can get holesaw kit from bunnings pretty cheap
if not drill a shitload of holes close together, play join the dots with snips
clean it all up with a file

First one I did was with a drill big enough to fit a jigsaw in.

Second one I got myself a hole saw.

Bypass bunnings and go to Glenfords, they were much cheaper for hole saws when I looked

Use the search tool with "snorkel" and find some of the posts about this. I know I asked a similar question a while ago.

Use lots of tape around the area so you dont scratch the paint!

cheap bunnings hole saws are not fun to use, they go blunt very quickly, take aced and heat up a lot

get the correct size hole saw in a decent quality, or take your ime with a sawzall or similar, althoug the inner gaurd depending on the model can be difcult

I put masking tape over the whole lot, marked it out on top of the tape, and then drilled heaps of small holes and joined the dots and finished it up with the Dremel.
A holesaw wasn't good for me, as the hole I wanted was a teardrop shape and not circle, to allow for some of the inside radius of the 90 deg bend to go into the guard, so the pipework sat flush with the panel.

I also used a window sealant strip from Clark Rubber, which made it come up good

Holesaw in air drill then a carbide bit in a die grinder.

these are great, don't know an Oz retailer though
http://www.stainelec.com.au/kamekura.html

basically drill a pilot hole 10-12mm
Apply dies and the press cut the panel
The beauty is the don't distort or warp the panel, no scratches and a clean cut
You can also get ones that have a bolt which you tighten instead pf the press machine thingo
Sparkies use them alot for electrical panels, so maybe try an Elect Wholesaler
I used to use Esco brand ones and recomend them
