Feroza to Sierra

G'day,

Has anyone heard of a 1.6 from a feroza that has been put in a sierra? i have heard the the vit and roza engines are similar.

Why would you? The Vit is pretty much a bolt in.

well there is the limiting factor of supply and cost.

Feroza would be step backwards as far as driveline. You would not be able to get the gearing options available.

But if you used the Feroza motor / gearbox you would still have the Suzuki transfer box and diffs...and therefore the gearing options?

Only if you buggered round removing the roza T-case from the back of the motor, or made dual cases by modifying the roza case. If the bloke was worried about the extra cost of getting a VIT motor over a roza, then i hardly thing this would be a better option :roll: Besides the obvious part that the vit is a almost drop in conversion, and the roza is much more involved.
