Outer Limits 4x4 Board

ok well im buying a coily cab gq ute in january

my question is should i buy a already modded one or a stock one and do it up so i know what it has done offroad?

also

if i was to buy stock , what suspension mods do i need to do to get max flex and drivability , 4wd ability out of it while still being road legal with engineer cert in n.t?

i know its probrably been covered but i cant seem to find it
