CT20 Turbo Rebuild in Bris?

Post by RUFF »

Anyone had a CT20 Turbo Rebuilt in Brisbane? Where and How much? Did you remove the turbo or did they do the entire job? Ive got one pumping oil into the intake.

Have you checked both side of the intake side Tony??

Could be blow-by from the engine if it is on both sides

Richard was that on or off the car? How much work did it need, just seals or machine work as well?

Its not blow by. The Rocker Cover breather is not connected to the intake.

No problem. The only reason I was happy buying my turbo was because it had a mist of oil on both side of induction. I beleive the old engine had blow-by.

You'd probably find with a the L series motors that there'll be a little bit of blow by right from day one. Apparetly it's always been like that. Only a little bit though.

I dropped it off at mike vines for that price, but i ended up bying all my crossover pipes from mtq turbo at salsbury, and they told me that mike vine drops his turbos of there to have something done that he cant do,by memory they were 100 cheaper than mike vine.

pretty much every internal combustion engine will have a little bit of blow by from day 1.
