EFI Idea

was at a mates place the other having a can while looking under the bonnet and he came up with a suggestion for an EFI for the zook.

he said to run an EA single point efi throatle body on a weber adaptor plate and control it using a Camira computer. Would be a fuel only setup so only a oxy sensor would be needed .

Anyone done or tried this??

Been done before on other vehicles, seen a couple done on 40s i think, most run straight gas but.

U will prob have to reprogram ecu maybe but easy done i think as they are the delco unit.

what about ign? dizzy and that.

Spike - not a worthless post as it can be done with patience and $$. Rhetts injection is similar to this.

needs TPS,MAP SENSOR,CRANK ANGLE SIGNAL(modded dissy ?),
better off trying to adapt a whole camira tbi setup as it will be much easier to get the delco reprogramed.

oxy sensor is for closed loop idle control so it will run well without it but fuel econ will suffer

you dont need to control the spark to have fuel injection even tho it is better. only controling the fuel would be better than a carby and relatively easy to do. Less splicing into the loom
