Giving my vitara a fluid change for christmas ( Gearbox, Diff and any thing else)
Have found the quanities and types of fluids that are needed on this site
http://www.zookpower.ca/fluidspecs.html
However i would like infomation on the filling locations for the diff and gear box. Also i notice the plugs on the diff are i square shape, but am told a 3/8 bit will fit in them?
Thanks.

I too am doing a fluid change, can anyone enlighten us on filling points for the gearbox, transmission and transfer case?
I have a sierra with a 1.6L carbied vitara engine.
What other fluids need checking??
Sierra's have a cable clutch right?

Check yout owners manual if you have they should have it listed ......

if you get under the Vit you should be able to wrk out whats what........drain plugs are low , fill points are high , just fill to bottom of fill hole or until it starts to trickle out ...

The 3/8 bit in reference is a 3/8 rachet drive from a socket set just use the rachet only (as long as its a 3/8 sized set)
