Can anyone please tell me how to drain the fuel from an MQ patrol, theres water in the fuel tank and a bit of mud, we have to run it on gas at the moment.....................please help!

Apart from the drain bolt in the bottom of the tank, you should be able to reach the inside via the sender hole in th top of the tank. In the floor of the cab there will be plate you can remove to gain acces to the top of the tank. Remove the pickup and sender from the tank, and use a syphon tube or pump device to remove the fuel/water/mud etc. check/clean the fuel pickup strainer gauze (if fitted) for blockages, and it would pay to blow out the fuel lines to the filter with compressed air. Replace the fuel filter.

do it Properly, remove the tank and flush it out... draining it will remove most but not all...

never seen a access point in a single MQ patrol yet !!!

but as Bogged said .... remove, flush, & reinstall is the only way to do it 100%

THERE IS NO ACCESS POINT IN THE FLOOR OF AN MQ FOR SENDER UNIT
AND GETING THE TANK PAST ORIGANL SPARE WHEEL CARRIER IS A PAIN

Yep. there are no access points unless u use a grinder, u can drain i out the bottom bolt but the result u want wont be achieved.
Rip it out and flush the guts is the best way.

nah i mean grinder in the floor panel to get access to the tank, but yeah its still an interesting concept. or u could do a body lift and get access to it there.
