Flexxing a standard GQ

Yes I know these shots aren't anything special and that half the vehicles here could drive OVER mine, but this is without any mods except replacing the rear shocks with Bilstein, and using the factory swaybar disconnect.

I'd planned to do some afterwards with the swaybars still connected, but the wife and kids wanted to get going, so had to be content with just these. So have nothing yet to compare them to. That will await another day.

Actually, the funniest thing is, that it's clean for two reasons, and the one you wouldn't have expected, is because it's such a POS that even the window squirter stopped working, so had to go through a carwash so I could SEE where I was going.

Too lazy to clean the windscreen at the servo eh ?

Yep, that's exactly right.
Though by the time I got out, paid the attendant, went back to the car, and drove it around to the carwash, typed in the code, and then got a really crappy clean, only to have the weather "sprinkle" that evening and leave droplets to collect dust and dirt that doesn't show up in the photo, I really should have just cleaned the window at the servo, or driven to one of the few hundred intersections here where people who can't get a real job will come and do your window - even if you don't want it done.

Odd.
Someone must have considered this to be a Nissan Technical Discussion and moved it here.
Silly me thought it was just posting some flex photos that happened to be an unmodded GQ.

Other forums have a photos section, which is great for those on dialup they can ignore the whole section, those only wanting tech can also ignore it, and those on highspeed broadband who are bored (like me) can go and browse to their hearts content.

I'm just wondering why someone would leave a rock in the middle of a perfectly cleared paddock...........???

Good flex BTW for a stocky.

It's actually a slab of concrete that the drunks seem to use to throw their bottles at for target practice.
Had to clear some broken glass just to use it, but have been eyeing it off as a way of rolling my car - I mean taking a flex shot - for ages.

How paranoid am I? I actually waited till I had another mate with a 4wd and all my recovery gear with me just in case I stuffed it up and tipped her over. It was fun when I went a tad too far and the car rocked from side to side trying to work out which wheel to sit on, but all my paranoia was in vain, I didn't break the side mirror by dropping the truck on it.

Don't know how many laws I broke, but my youngest daughter also had a drive of the Patrol in that paddock that morning, with me in the passengers seat with a firm grip on the handbrake and a very worried expression on my face - let's just say she's not quite old enough to be driving. She did a fine job of it though I must admit.
