I haven't put a second alt on, but I have made up some brackets and done the measurements to fit an a/c compressor for compressed air.

The best spot suggested to me was above the stock a/c compressor, and below the power steering pump. The trick is to relocate the power steering pump up a few inches at the same time to create the space. Then you use the same belt as the p/s pump to drive your new item.

Without pics it's hard to tell how this would work, but you need to consider the amount of "wrap" around the pulley - the more power you're expecting from the driven device, the more "wrap" you need.

I'd be questioning the performance of any device with less than 90 degrees of wrap. I'm not saying it won't work; merely suggesting it may give trouble.

Good luck,
