What Chev V6 does he have 200ci, 229ci, 262ci in 90 degree v6 engine or
a 173ci or 200ci in the 60 degree V6 They all have different torque bandsand require defferent diff ratios
What gearbox does he have
I imported and fitted a lot of these in the lat 80s and through the 90s
In my Hilux I had a 262 ci engine with Holley manifold and a 4 barrel 465 cfm Holley carby tricked up 5 speed by me fitted with 30% over drive 3.9 diffs and 31x10.5 wheels , the engine ran at 1970 RPM at 110 KMH and with not so gentle driving I was getting 630 KM out of a 73 litre tank
