As the title suggests trying to work out what i "SHOULD" be getting out of my v6 4runner.

At moment with 110ltr tank im getting 600k

That sucks really hard.

Not going by tank size just average klm per ltr of unleaded what should i be getting??

Any tips on increasing this mileage cos even for local touring and offroad imgonna get stuck in the middle of knowhere, if not on the way to work

cheers in advance and such

About 13.5L per 100km, or 430 km per tank. (I drive around town like an old sheila though)

Robsrunner, what did you do to your intake and how much did it help :?:

Cheers

i took off all the crap in between the airbox and the throttle body, then went to exhaust place and got a mandral bend made up to go directly from box to throttle body and attached them via 3inch rubber hose, i drilled a hole in the pipe and put a grommet for the breather hose (tight fit), it made a better differance on accelaration, fuel ecconomy not sure as i drive it a bit diff each tank full. pm me if you would like some pix. dont know how to post them here, only send on phone

My 4runner was returning 12 to 13 l/100km with 95% highway driving. I occasionally got 11.3 to 11.7, and with a little more right foot was getting up into the 14.3 l/100km, but those were few and far between. And I was filling up 2-3 times per week. Engine was stock. Stock tyres (29 or 30 inch??).

Here are a few links for the removal of the airbox and elbow.
