Hey guys
Well the trucks runnin nice now with the 32s under her. very impressed with its offroad performance even with standard gearing.
but now i have a question for u guys.
i went on a trip down the coast for 3 days of driving. and my ks on the clock went crazy said i did about 3000 ks and that was on one tank. i take it this is from the new tyers screwing ratios or seomtohing. but my car only has 100 on the clock and i kinda wanna keep them down as its fairly low for a older car. is there any way to stop it goin nuts ??
Cheers guys.

The larger tyres will actually show less km's being clocked up then stock.
I don't know why it's doing what it is, but you could disconnect the speedo cable from the transfer to stop clocking up ridiculous kms.
Is the speedo still working as per usual or is it going crazy to? I presume it is gone crazy too...I'd be checking the cable. But it sounds like something else is the problem to me.

the spedo is low as in it shows 75 k when u are goin 85 etc. not to sure on how off it is but about that . anyone got any other ideas on what might be causing this ?
also is there any way to gain some of the lost power with bigger tyers.
i know gearing give u it back in low range but is there something to do about high range ? 5th in it now is unusable and 4th tops out of power around the 85 - 90 k area. dosent bother me that much but the train of people on the freeway dont seem to like it too much. i know i could go extractors exaust ect. or a turbo . but is there any thing alse i could look at ?
Cheers

Crawler gears or usually same as transfer gears, basically take your gears out and change them over for new lower ratios and inc 1000 or more for them usually.
U can change diff ratios as well but not heaps of options, not up to speed on what works best and all that.
Think about what u want it to do and work from there (eg beach work or strictly rock crawling)
