Ok guys wonder if you can help me here

Nissan Hornsby are trying to pull a shifty on a friend of mine. Trying to get panhard rod bushes for a 2000 GU 4.5L petty. they are saying that you can't get the bushes alone, you have to buy the rod. now i know that a load because not that long ago i got my bushes for my GQ there thanks to some help from a friend

i can't remember the part number that i was quoted for the panhard rod bushes

if someone can help with the numbers, that would be great

Thanks

The lower bush which is the one with the large hole (diff end) is 55135-01j01 same as GQ. The upper bush I have never had to replace on a GU but having a quick look at it it is differant. The upper GU bush has a dust boot over it. If your mate has the rod out of the car get him to check the measurments of the old bush. The upper GQ bush part number is 55135-01j10. Pin hole 14mm,internal sleve width 48mm,rubber dia 48.6mm.I know most of the aftermarket suppliers use the GQ upper bushs for GU but weather the eyelet is the same dia as the genuine rod you will have to check.

depeanding on the hyear model, the GU's had a ball joint as the upper panhard bush, not sure why, or if they are interchangable (but i doubt it as they are alot larger by the looks of it,
