Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hi i have a 90 model sieera


im in the process of putting a new clutch in im trying to pull the tail shaft out ie(the one behing the gearbox) and it wont come out. ive tried pushing the tail shart back into the gearbox but it wont seam to budge. what im asking is what is the best way to remove the gear box.

I've taken mine out twice, I've found it easy just to take the T/case out as well.

so the tail shart does definetly slide back into the box.

Yep. slip yoke style oon the gearbox and flanges on the xfer.
