Hey all,
I recently bought a 97 zook and it has had a light roll, what i was wondering is, does anyone know how much a roof skin is, and is the roof worth saving, or binning?
Ill try to get some pics up of it today.

Gday,
i have rollded my zook, light roll as well, i had a soft top, so i only really damaged the gaurds...
i say ditch the roof... make ya zook a little ute.. soft tops cost about $400
and a bikini trops are about $250....
i got mine from sydney...
and is your roof worth binning... mate its worth taking off zook and keeping... because someone out there will want ir... depending on how biusted up it is...
take photos...if its ok.. people will by it so post it up on the for sale section,....
Dan!
P.S pm on what ya thoughts are....

As suggested make it into a ute. If you can keep the front section to the B pillar so you have a solid cover. This will also allow you to extend the wheel base without too much other body work. If you try and make it into a soft top it won't be worth the effort and will cost a fortune.

There's some wicked cut down utes on the forums if it's unfixable. 9" grinder will fix anything

depends on how bad the roll was... mind barrelled and i did a bodyswap cos the roof was rooted, i'd be wary of losing what little strength is in the roof tho... so unless it's just a few dents i'd cut it down or do a bodyswap - fairly straight forward and prolly won't cost too much if u hunt around for a body...
if u cut it, might be worth keeping the tin for welding into rust holes or something

depending on how the roof is bent, u can push them back out using a bit of wood and a bottle jack on the inside of the car, just push from floor on other side, i know a few people who have dun this, looks ok.
