starter motor problems with 1.6 conversion

i have a 1.3 starter at the moment....
i have a conversion (adapter plate) on the gearbox... my 1.3 starter does not fit.. in oder for it to fit i neeed to file or grind away at the block.. i do not want do that.. what can i do?
get a 1.6 starter... or another type of 1.3 starter...
alll i need to start the bastard is a starter.. please help

man which country u from???? just grind ur starter , takes about 2 mins.

"man which country u from????"
and i said i am from Australia... Melbourne....
where in all of that does it say anything about where my engine might have come from??

it just seems to be alot to ghrind.... i may have a diff starter motor to you though...
will a vitara starter bolt straight up.... with my adapter plate...

Just grind the starter away dude, takes about 5 min with a 4 inch grinder, take a patch about an inch wide off where it rubs on the block and its all good............

Grind the starter. Not the BLOCK.

starter not block.
cut away the section that it rubs on...
no need to file the block????
