Whats the difference BJ 40/42

G'day.

Please pardon my ingnorance but what is the difference between a BJ40 and a BJ42.

40 petrol and 42 is desil

FJ means petrol, BJ means diesel (for swb)

BJ40 has B motor
BJ42 has 3B motor

BJ42 also has front disc brakes, and later ones had a 5 speed gearbox. (1983, 1984)

there you go sorry i drive a FJ 40 well it was once
