Long Range Vitara

Post by bugden23 »

G'day i'm the process of turning my vitara into an offroad tourer, it has been lifted about 2" with larger cooper all terains. It has front and rear ARB air lockers dual battery set up, and the engine has been given a few more berries with a set of extractors. The one thing that i'm having trouble doing is finding a soloution to the fact that the fuel tank is too bluddy small.

....Anyone ever fitted a secondary fuel tank to a vitara, and if so how ?

is yours a lwb or a swb? brown davis used to do a bigger tank for a swb vit, i cant remember the size of it, but ive done about 650kms on mine before running out. it was a replacement tank, i dont think theres anywhere you would fit a second tank.
