Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Snapped my speedo cable over the new year trip when a rock smashed it underneath and now I'm trying to remove it. Just curious how it attaches to the guage end? I can feel where the cable joins the cluster but does it just pull off, screw off or what? Thanks and happy new year.

i think it just pops off theres a clip thing on it you can feel it but dont trust me on that
