The 03 Nissan GUIII 4.2 TDi has just churned over 100,000 K and is now out of warranty. I do my own services with minimal mechanical experience and when necessary have a certified mechanic mate assist. I follow the Nissan schedule but what's the biggie for the 100,000 sercie do you think? Interested to hear your opinions re oils, filters, oil additives, etc Thanks. (Just found the front L/H wheel bearing needs attention)

Mate, follow the service book, and whatever you do to the left side, do to the right side...re your "left wheel bearing needs attention".

I looked at the post and thought it meant GUIV 3tdi. But am so wrong.
As for servicing 5-7000km oil/filter changes seem to be the go. And for that wheel bearing. May as well do both sides. Also before you pull it all apart check the thickness of the discs. As I am sure most of it has to be pulled apart. And the fronts a pain.

the 100k service, to find out what is done, which is probably CV's, diffs, wheel bearings, etc, call and ask nissan what they would do at the 100k...
If its one of the "BIG" services, then probably
Fuel, air and oil filters
Diff, engine, box, and t/case oils
Repack wheelbearings
Repack CV's.
Check brake pads & discs for wear
Replace coolant
Change brake fluid
Grease all joints
Check lights etc
probably missed somethings, but Dealer will let u know.
All are probably worth doing, then you start with a clean slate knowing they have all been done properly, some dealers say they do things, and dont.
YMMV.
DILLIGAF etc.
