Holy sh1t Ian, a Jabber beating a Tojo
Either the new Mitsi is that good or Tojo didn't pay their normal annual bonuses this year

Somebody screwed up somewhere - no LandCruiser or Patrol in the running.
But I am surprised the LandCruiser badges on the Prado weren't enough to secure the win. I'll bet Toyota's surprised too.

I've got the D4 in my toyota. I prefer the older KZJ70 3.0TD if i'm brutally honest.

i've personally felt that 3 D4 diesel didn't feel as gusty low down and thus would not be as good at towing. As such to me the D4 has felt 'tinnie' compared to the old 3.0TD in my KZJ70. But comparisson, although the torque graphs show a different picture, my old Toyota engine felt much better for towing. Perhaps is a gearing thing, i don't know. Having said that the economy of the D4 D is much better. But then again, had my old KZJ 70 had an intercooler then it's economy would've been better. Personally given experience of both, I have more confidence in the old rather than the new.
