Could try RACV but they wouldn't cover me, for a 2" susp and 2" inch bodylift. As they class it as lift overall excluding tyres. I am with TCIS and have had no problems with them and I have made a claim. Also my premium went down even though I had a claim, also covered every where. TCIS and DGA are very similar by what I have heard, and as long as it has an engineers cert and is legal in the state it is registered they cool with anything.

Their prices have gone up.. Nothing bad with payouts etc..
But premiums have gone up by as much as 75%.. And with more than 50mm modded cars, they are charging Lots... :(

well I must have got in just in time then, as I have 2"susp and a 2" bodylift and my premium was under $500, and was cheaper than the year before. Also I had made a claim which was even more of a supprise.
Must have been lucky.
Also reading the policy it is pretty much the same as what it was when it was underwritten by CGU (now is suncorp). As long as it is legal and engineered in the state of registration they are happy. And so am I.

I have been with TCIS for last three years and premium has increased on renewals every time.Have been on max no claim bonus from start.
It's due for renewal in couple of months and this time I'll be checking out other brokers too.

Yea they also require a copy of the engineers certificate they told me. Suppose thats to check its all legal if you make a claim.
Also read the fine print.. Dan from Melbourne list insured with TCIS, they took his $$, then sent out the paperwork THREE MONTHS later..
In the fine print, it stated he must have an Immobilizer installed and checked... They never mentioned this immobiliser to him in his call to them about it when they took his $$...
So be careful.
I'm with TCIS, just for the insured everywhere bit really, worth paying a little more, but not 50%= more... Some people who have called them up to ask why such an increase, have had their premiums lowered from the quote they send you.. I think its just a sucker punch to get more $.
Roly had issues with them, and never got a reply.. Ive never had an issue when I mailed Ken the MD.
