Would a 35 inch x 15 inch inner diam x 10.5 inch width tyre
(Simex centerpede)
fit in a 15 inch diameter x 7 inch width nissan rim?
(Sunraysia)
And would this combination work ok in a Nissan Patrol GQ?
Go easy guys, im a newbie!!

yes it'll fit but would be better on an 8" rim .
more detail as to what other mods the vehicles has would help ie . body lift? spring lift etc as with out one or a combination of the two the tyres will rub big time on the guards and be pretty useless .
cheers Jai

Thanks, I forgot to add there is 3 inch body lift and 2 inch spring lift there, I am not sure if this will still rub on the front mud flaps? Oh well, not a big deal with the flaps.

Whats the reason as to why it would be better on that rim? Wouldn't the 7 inch rim hold the tyre better under low tyre pressures?

8" too wide for a 10.5 tyre, you run a greater chance of popping the tyre off the bead at lower pressures - stick with 15x7

Thanks for the info! I'll give it a go!
35 inches sounds big, im still on the 31 inch road tyres, can't wait to test these out!!

depends on what the manufacturer recommends... a Centipede is a wide tire to start with, I'd go 8's.

Nah the 10.50s are narrow. Should see them not mounted they just look wrong (Q78 swampers are the same). So whould work on a 7" rim. Pretty this is what most of the guys with Rangies run.
For me if I am going to spend that much on a trye I would go the 35x11.5R15or16. Mounted on an 8".

I've only seen them on rims, dude in club has a set, they are on 16x8's and they didnt look too bad.. will have to check it out.. Im working on the same theory.. wouldnt mind tryin a set of Q78's on for size, see if they fit

I borrowed BRT's for a weekend up the snow and at one of the Gembrook trips. First time I have ever used an agressive trye of this type. I thought they where great and worked well on a SWB GQ. Was able to idle stuff I normal rev the crap out of it..
Just need to go on bigger offset rims than what Andrew had. As they rubbed abit to much on the inner rear arch. And didnt quite hold the body away from those real deep ruts like my 35MTR's on 15x8's do.

if ya want to get techincal it actuallay 8.5"
but i run my 31x10.5x15 on performance 15x8 rims and had a few problems with the beed not sealing proper after a go in the mud,
i did the smart thing got second set of tyres 33s on 15x8 sunnies for the fun and 31s for the road
but i imagin thats the 35s would still rub on a 3" by 2" lift
