Just trying to understand what is needed to lift the front with IFS.

Basicly I thought higher shocks was/is the go but I'm now thinking stronger torsion bars is what does the trick?

Is that right?

on what model vehicle????

Cranking the standard torsion bars around, or getting new stiffer torsion bars is the general way it is done. Shock absorbers will remain the same length as you are only altering the "midpoint" of where the vehicle sits in its suspension travel (limited by physical constraints of suspension geometry). You do lose a bit of droop travel, but gain a bit of compression travel.

Another modification that can be done to some vehicles is a "ball joint flip" that can lift the suspension wishbone up from the ball joint, giving better clearance under the steering knuckes. This does not generally affect the suspension "midpoint".
