Outer Limits 4x4 Board

gday guys,
i am a newby and need a bit of help. i am looking at getting some new tyres and want to get radial claws in 33x13.5x15. i was wondering if anyone knows if they will fit under they car or if they'll rub? i have 50mm bodylift now and am getting 50mm suspension lift in the next couple of weeks, but am not sure if 13.5 is too wide. has anybody else had 13.5 inch wide tyres on a gq before and can offer any advice?

Yes they will fit, they might rub a bit depending on what offset rims yo get.
The radial claw doesn't come in 13.5in wide only bias which won't last too long as your daily driver tyres. 13.5 is fairly wide but the bias don't measure quite that wide. You will need some wide flares to get them in the guards and it will tram track a bit on the bitumen not too bad though

thanks for that tuffrangie, i'll have to get flexiflares or duraflares. i just didnt want to rub, on the mickey thompson websites it says they come in that size, i hope its not a lie. wat sort off offset would i need for those tyres?

What is the link to the website? I used to sell MT up until a few months ago and all i can see on their website is 12.5 or 15.5in wide on a 15in rim. Go landcruiser offset

I aksed this to V8patrol for a friend a while ago, and he stated that it should be ok, but might rub at full flex.

yeah, your right tuff rangie, they only sell the radial claws in 33x12.5x15. there the tyres im gettin on the mickey thompson mt classic II rims. Will i still need the offset for 12.5inchs? will it still rub at full flex with 12.5s and a patrol offset? or is it better for landcruiser offset to give a wider wheel base, it shouldnt make a difference with either should it?

its more of a love bight than a rub with these (is fine) just make sure you get cruiser off set rims or you will be in strife......

i run 2 inch suspen lift with my 33s bfg ATs on pootrol offset rims 15x8
on full lock just rubs a tad and a bit when it full flex other then that it quiet a smooth ride:)

untill i get my bigger lift in

Ive got 33x12.5 mongrels on 15x8 rims with a 4inch lift and no rubbing.
Maybe a little at full flex
