what to do with my 110 buggy thing.

OK, im at a turning point what to do with my 110 buggy. Its almost ready to hit the rocks and comps in its curent form - mid mounted 3.9/zf, 36 iroks, full exo, chromo axles, haultech cvs, toy LSD centers and traction control blah blah blah.
But i have a set of diffs from a 2002 ford F250 sitting here (D60 HP front and D70 rear) and some full hyro steer. These mothers are about 200mm wider in track each side. I also know where there is another D60 front that i could stick in the rear but thats for later. To fit these diffs i would need to change the pinion side on the front + change/move the mounts a bit, and give the rear brakes and center a rebuild and shave. This is a few more months work in which i would miss out on comps and having lots of fun driving into rocks and stuff.
Oh and the missus says i can't spend any more money cos our 10 week old son hasn't got enough clothes or somthing.........so lockers and sticky tyres are for another day.
So to drive it as it is and bust my centers and stuff or chuck in the dana's and hydro and break my transfer in a few months?

I thought that the toy centres would be fine with it. I'd just get out and drive it.

I don't understand why it has to sound oh so dramatic?
But anyway...if you keep the current set up, the first thing you should do is piss the Haultech CVs off and get Longfield 30/30s. The Haultech CVs are good...but they do not hold up to rock crawling. We used them and broke 4 in a short time. We swapped to Longfield 30/30s and never looked back.
But if it were me, I would be doing the dana thing.

drive it till your break it.... hide some cash from the missus, have some fun and it might also help you decide how far you wanna go with it too.

drive it, at least you can wheel it as is, see how it goes. Just go on some good practice trips before you compete
if you break a centre then fit the 60's ..... and if you don't keep driving it and sell me the 60's

I am worried about the cvs and centers, but the traction control
should make their job easier. I'd love a set of longfields but the danas were cheaper.
From what i have driven the steering is pretty heavy, however i also have an orbital valve and hyd ram laying around. would the standard Power steer pump handle a full hydro setup or should i just drill and tap the box for hysro assist? Didnt Haultech have to run a custom pump for full hydro?

Doesn't it have power steering? I would have expected it to be as light as a feather with the engine so far back.

probebly would be pretty light without 13 inch wide iroks at 10 psi. i may also have an air pocket somewhere as the pumps noisy.

yeah won't be light my series II is heavy at slow speeds with power steer. I'm going to fit hydro to mine too (got it lying around)
Put the hydro on it, the pump will be fine for it, is it single ram or double? if single you'll need a big resivor for it. otherwise it will be fine
