Hey guys

My names Tim, i'm 14 years old which means i'm 2 young 2 drive but that aint gonna stop me.

You see i got this 50cc atv in april and she had some minor injurys (including rolling over 4 times after drifting (thats why i now 4wd) but now she's gone 4 good but i'm thinking of changing all of that.

I thort 2 myself since i love rock crawling y don't i make my pig rooted atv a 125cc rock crawler by instead od having 0 degrees of articulation she will have 45 degrees of articulation but adding 2 front shocks and a custom built rear shock and also a 125cc orion pit bike engine.

i will get all the parts from an orion pit bike, it will be kinda like a ride on rock crawler so PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.

Yours Faithfully

Timothy Thornton.

Yeah why not? If you have all the gear and you have the ability and imagination go for it. Post up some pics as you go along.

and don't forget, you will need a roll cage.

Yeah i agree, why not.

Sounds like a fun little machine.

And yes, make sure you build a frame that will offer the rider some sort of protection against the rocks.

Have you got land to ride it on? If you do you may as well just throw $500 at an unregistered paddock bomb 4x4 :D . And if you dont trash it too much, might be able to get it regoed once you turn 16. Just a thought. A ride on rock crawler would be mad, just involve alot more work than a paddock basher.

There was a thread a few months ago about starting a small comp along these same lines.
