Clutch Problem

Seems like my clutch may be on the way out what would be na average price to fit a new clutch and presure plate for an 89 Mav Petrol

anwy where from $400 to $800 odd depeneed what ya want

standard cluctch from auto barn, excedy $399
safari clucth $600-$800 odd

Expect to pay the above prices for the kit.
dependes on where you go, you'll pay probably 4 or 5 hunjy in labour for somewhere reputable and a flywheel machine 50 bucks.


Now i'll wait for all the replies telling me that they had there's done for 150 bucks and 10 bucks for the flywheel!

I got an extreme outback clutch for $280 from place in SA

HAppy with it so far

got a new injector pump etc etc and tune. anyways original clutch at 340000kms didnt like the new power increase and spun the thurs before christmas.

i got a safari tough for $569. and managed to get the flywheel machined for 30 bucs on the sat morning. i gave the fella a 6 pack too cos hed already locked up for christmas when i arrived.
they are an awesome clutch and the box isnt that bad to remove if you take the transfer off first.

if i had more time i probably would have had direct clutch at albion mod my old clutch for about 350 i think it was. its the same combo alot of the winch boys up this way use and strong as . but you have to send them the old clutch and its about a week turn around
