i am pulling out the engine, gearbox and transfer on my 1976 series 3 landy. it doesn't look promising but will i be able to undo the mounts and then just slip it out the front. or must i seperate the transfer from the box to get it out.
any tips appreciated.
thanks
jim.

Usual practice is to take the engine out/up from the front, and the gearbox and t-case out/up from inside the cab (after removing the seat box).

Slipping the whole lot out the front may be possible - but you may need to remove the t-case first??? I have never done it that way as I don't have an engine crane suitable - and usually i just wanted to remove one of the other.
