converting a carby Fuel tank to EFI
I thought that may be the case, as most later model cars, even carby ones, run an intank pump. If they do, they need a swirlpot. All you would need to do is replace the pump (or fit one if there is none) with a suitable EFI pump. If you give me the diamensions required, I should be able to match it up for you.jtraf wrote:coily tank has a swirl pot and provision for a fuel pump I think??

I have done an efi conversion (and used a lot of help from this forum). For the fuel pump, I removed the standard fuel filter, and put a second hand VN commodore external fuel pump and filter in the old filters place. At this stage I do not have a swirl pot, and havent needed one. If I ever burn the fuel pump out I will worry about it then.

Use cheap tools... Its better to break the tool than the part!

Read the info at handZookStock wrote: The pic of the tank he uses has a little flower shape on the highest point (older model tank) and the newer on has the fuel punp there.....
It's the same tank
He modified the stock tank by adding the intank pump where the flowers was
