Hi guys.

Im building an LJ50 up from a collection of parts vehicles i have sourced. Its just going to be a toy, based on a partial restoration running the two stroke engine and standard running gear, but with a tray back, full cage, winch, harnesses etc etc

This is the build up thread on the NZ based forum offroadexpress.co.nz:

http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/modules ... 94&start=0

I have all of the components i need to get one running and driving apart from one thing, the gear selector lever assembly which mounts to the trans tunnel and operates te gear box via a linkage. I have the linkage, but can't find the gear lever assembly any where over here in NZ.

Do any of you guys know anywhere in OZ that may have one, i.e wreckers yards/people that have spare parts vehicles/guys that have swapped engines and trans and no longer use the shifter assembly......

If any one could give me an email address of a likely place to start looking, i would greatful !!!!!!

Thanks,

Pete.
