Anyone else had trouble with Motson tuning centre Brisbane

Hey Guys just wondering if anyone else has had trouble with them?
Before xmas i had my GU ute tuned up by them. The dyno print out
reads before they played with it: 84hp at the wheels and 490nm of
torque. After they played with it 110hp and 660nm of torque. The
problem i have is that before it was tuned i never had a problem
with EGT. Now after they tuned it it gets up too 550deg really quickly
so iam thnking to much fuel. It also chews fuel like it is cheap. And i
have serious doubts that they got 26hp at the wheels because i raced a mates 79 series cruiser ute and stayed with him until we reached the speed limit. Now after they played with it iam still in the same spot when we raced. They wound the boost up from 8psi to 10psi. I already had the 3inch zust with dump pipe no muffler. I took it back to them this morning to get them to make sure it was all alright they told me it was fine.

I said that i was not happy and the bloke told me that they are not miracle workers. And that the truck is fine and not to worry about it. I was not really happy as you can imagine. I paid my hard earned cash on something that i think has not been delivered to me. So now to get the truck running right i have to spend more of my money because motsons dont want to know about it.
Any ideas on where to go from here would be much apreciated.
Thanks for you time
Brownie

You could try asking Hiway Diesel at Coopers Plains?, went there after talking to Motsons. Were really helpful and seem to know their stuff.

Brisbane Tuning is the one to go to IMO. They told me the same thing years ago about the mob you went too, although I don't want to pass to much comment as I haven't used them personally. A mates GQ runs 17PSI and goes really hard and no problems for nearlly 10 years. My MK was about 18psi and again no issues. I won't even start about the landruiser after taking it too 2 other people that were closer to me at Redcliffe finally took it to Brisbane Tuning and now goes like it should.

Bris tuning did my cruiser.
1hz, DTS turbo I/C 16psi. Never had a problem, ETG never gets over 500.
From my experance these guys know what they are doing and I would go straight to them.

Yeah i should have taken it to them from the start but a friend of a friend told me to go to motsons.(ill never listen to him again) The only problem is money right now after xmas. It pisses me off that i have already done the work and now have to get someone to re-do it. I should just send motsons the bill after Brisbane tunining and turbo fix it so that it is driveable.

Does the exhaust temp go any higher if you load the engine right up in top gear, because that exhaust temp sounds write, also i have 4 mates with the same car and they did the exhaust and pump and they run 14psi boost and to be honest there not all that much better than standard, but they sound good, the tourque gains acheived are good but the tourqe doesnt come on much faster.

Temp sounds correct to me . Which Motsons did the work ? I had work done by Motsons in Coopers Plains and could not be happier with the results . Anyway who cares about HP it is TORQUE that we want isn`t it .

Iam hitting 550deg in second gear in high range. I have talked to a few more people today that said they have retaded the timing and have put to much fuel in it.
Yeah it was motsons at coopers plains. It all depends on what as an individual you want. Ill never deal with them again.

You must be rich! I didnt think the door at Motsons would open for you unless you had about 10k bulging from your wallet. Went to see them about tuning my old car, couldnt say get fucked fast enough. They basically wanted to do my engine conversion all over again but "properly" Even though the motor was in the car and running fine, just needed the Haltech tuned. Arrogant cocksmokers is the first term that comes to mind.
Cheers

Brisbane Turbo is the go.
the figures below are from a GU turbo with a 3" dump and 3" exhaust, not intercooled, and it hammers. will/does smoke 37" krawlers on the road
