It IS a 1.8 litre mazda. From memory it's a K8.
As such, there are a range of engines which can fit, including v6's and 2.2 turbo efi engines.

they are worth $0! to start with
I think I read they have same running gear as some common 4b, so could be a cheap starter for someone at right price. but yea, Zooks arent that expensive, and everything is everywhere for them!

mayeb use aftermarket zook springs and spring over adapters as sorcing from korea will take ages.
i'm suprised that u say a v6 will bolt up but it would be awsome if it did, i was thinking today about a mitsubitshi 2.8 tdi cos it's based on the 2.5 so i imgaine it would have the same pettern.
