Hilux Chassis

Ok, I have searched all the previous post on this but cannot find the answer, just mis-information.
I am wanting to know the duel cab mounts are in the same place on 84 to 97 or even 97 to 2005.
I want to use my 84 chassis with a later body on it.
SO,,,,,, Does it bolt on??????? :?:

What years interchanges?

My reason is I want to build up a solid axle Hilux with a later model look.

I don't want to go through the trouble of moving mounts and the engineering hassles of getting it past.

Do mods myself and trying to interchange bits i've found a good way to find out stuff like this is to wonder around used car yards with a tap measure in your pocket. This time of the year you've got a couple of hours after all the sales men have gone before it gets dark.

but i can't actually help with your question sorry. Just a suggestion.
Cheers Dan

Ok I fitted a 4th gen cab (RZN149) to a 2nd gen frame (LN60) the only mounts that lined up were the front two, I have had to put body lift blocks in to level everything back out, the centre mounts I had to widen 20mm either side.

Rear mounts I am not sure pretty sure they are right I had to move mine cause I used a 4 runner frame.

Rear cab mount I fabricated.

Gen 2 & gen 3 have the same chassis. I put a gen 2 cab on a gen 3 chassis.
