ive been told that if there are bubbles in the radiator overflow tank, there might be a leak from the head. i also took the rover for a drive on the highway and within 25km the water and oil temp were in the red. any suggestions whats wrong?

what engine? but yeah bubbles in the radiator filler can mean blown head gasket. but it could also have air in the system if its been open

nahh dont do that does it look old and blocked? is it full of mud and grass and crap? is the aircon condensor full of crap? i have found lots of gargage in between the air con condensor and radiator before. also is there a small hose about 3/8 dia going between the inlet manifold and radiator or header tank make sure its clear should be able to blow throu it. and check the flame traps/pcv system for white milky crap and pull the oil cap off and look for milky crap along with the dipstick if its milky you have a leakey head gasket for sure. i allways replace them with the composit type not the steel rover type
