hey mate i have a holden 308 in my 75 and i have a 80 series lsd in the arse end and a open center up front and they seem to be holding up ok.

I think u'll find that your diffs will not be your bigest problem but your rear hubs and axel studs will shear off when driven to hard but there are ways to overcome this.

As for the strongest diff your could put it would either be a detroit locker or a arb airlocker.

should fit fine. i had a 80 series complete rear diff with detroit fitted and ran that in my 73 series for 2 years.

an 80 lsd is the cheapest way to get traction but like all toyota lsd's becomes inefective after a few months
