Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I recently purchased a motor of this guy and he seems to have vanished without a trace with my money, as i live in QLD i cant just drive on down and see him so i was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the business.

I rang there a week ago to ask about some parts and the phone was disconnected???

I know he had some trouble last year, broke up with his missus, settlement issues etc. It was all posted on the monthly forum. Maybe it's still ongoing?

I dont know where you rang or what address you have but i seen his sign up at lonsdale last week. i have that address if you want.

It's the number advertised on the monthly forum that I rang. 1st the land line number then the mobile one.

I paid for some parts before christmas and still haven't got the items, I sent several sms messages and finally got a message saying I'd get them - I'm still waiting!! On here he's Slingabred or something similar. I read on the 4WDMonthly forum he was selling his business! Somebody should tell the moderators as they'd have his details....

yeah i bought a alternator from brad from SA 4x4 dismantlers, i did get it within a week he told me it was tested and what not , i then put it in the nissan friday arvo and drove down to warragul but on the way back it burnt out ,when i got home i ripped it out and sent it back i had to pay a further 10-20 bucks on postage to have a replacement sent back to me her in melbourne, i never got it according to brad hed changes courers and my replacment alternator was on QLD, but in the end after finally getting a hold of brad he gave back the $$$ ang i got one locally,

i will addmit other stuff i got from him i got within a week so not all bad

yeh im goin to consumer affairs/fair trading tomoro i dont care about the motor now i just want my money back ive had a car with no motor for over a month because i was counting on this motor

he hasn't dissapeared, i just got onto him, your motor is on the way.

I have paid for some window catches, before christmas and I'm still waiting!!!

He needs to let his customers know what's going on, especially the ones waiting for parts.

I duno if u guys tryd callin him lately but i just did theres a message on his mobile, hes gone bust, the people who are waiting parts he said will get them he asks that we be patient and hes trying to work thru this the best way for everyone and he apologises for the inconvienience......guess we just gotta be patient

Let's hope so.........especially for killer_garden_gnome as his is a bit more expensive than mine!

yep he's gone bust. he knows there will be a few cranky customers, and he's keen to set things right.

he hasn't got net access, as he's sold his house. i WILL NOT give out his personal number, but as long as your polite, PM me your name, number, what you bought, and how much for, and i'll either try to get him to get back to you, or i'll try to get your money back to you. if your not comfortable giving me your number, pm me and we'll discuss what you want me to do for you.

i'm not in business with brad, just a personal friend, and i hate people getting left in the dark. i'm doing this on my own time, thus the request to be polite. oh and please be patient, i'm studying 48 hours a week and have a 40, a patrol, and a falcon that all need some mechanical attention. i'm happy to help, but can't perform miracles

yellow pages? won't do you much good tho, as al just took the workshop back as brad's lease ran out

OK as you all know due to unforseen circumstances I have had to shut my doors. I guess, as much as I'd love to, you cant give mates rates to everybody. My sincerest appologies to all who have been inconvenienced by this unfortunate occurance.
As originally stated on the mobile message bank, everyone waiting for parts will recieve them as soon as I possibly can get them to you, I have bought myself another 2 weeks at the work shop to ensure I can tie up all loose ends.
Again I sincerely appologise and I thank the majority for your support whilst we were actively in business.
