I broke the front housing on my a/c pump and was wondering if it can be changed as the pump it's self is in good nick.
Also dose any one have a a/c pump they want to get rid of working or not?

Really have no idea, but where are you going to get the housing from?

Wreckers arent gonna wanna part with just the housing, so its probably going to cost you a whole second hand pump, which will be $200odd from memory.

$200 is not a bad price but if some one has a pump which is stuffed inernaly I could use the housing

I saw a post not long ago i think it was the 4wdmontly site ?
some guy like you and me similar problem. some one posted a reply about a
place in melbourne, nippondenso they do all the reco work and supply new compresors as well there was a phone number.
i have allso seen the parts book my aircon mech used and it had all the parts listed from the same place etc but he wont give me a phone number. this is a common fault and compressors are hard to find second hand a new one from toyota are about $670, and from denso $570
i ended up putting on a new compressor fitted up new filter and gas $890
some guys want the same for reco units.
try doing a search for nippondenso auto aircon.

I just got a reco compressor from nippon denso. $350 changeover. I was going to just get the seals in mine done but was advised that it would probably shit itself again if the shaft wasn't perfectly straight (More than likely not!!!)

Beats the hell out of 2nd hand no warranty!!!

Whats the part number on the pump? Should be 10PA7L or something like that. Let me know what it is and I might be able to help.
