I would be interested in this too. I ripped out the dash to respray it this weekend but didn't have the time to rework the white dash gauges (from suzukiinfo.com) from mph to km/h. I'll get it done but not for a week or three so if anyone has done it that would be great. I'll be working on the old-style gauge for 31's.

PDF templates here-
http://bbs.zuwharrie.com/content/topic,7918.0/all.html
Also explains the math
Get the local sticker dude to print them on vinyl
Somwhere in that thread it also taks about the spedos having adjustment on the back for minor variances, interesting
Somebody should look into getting a few sets done, I have one

Just guessing the Vitaras would likely be different
If anybody is making a template can you change the speedo in the pic above to read 'You've gotta be kidding" instaed of warp speed
White guages

My SJ80 (coily) had white guages...and a cool red/orange backlight. Why not just get a coily dash or at least guages?

we used to have an old VW van with diffent diffs/tyres .. so we put new speeds in. after 80km/h it was "Jump!"

i have got a spare vit 88 shape cluster backing in black i could maybe organise a scan of it for someone to play with it.
I am going to look into this also for my WT dash.

well you could source a coily dash but its costs more than say 50 bucks.. would cost much less to print it onto some vinyl and pull the dash cover and lens out (6 screws). stick it on and your sweet.
well if noone has it i may scan mine up and modify it then from there ill even look at replacing my LEDs as they are nice and orange :S.. maybe some red or white LEDs...

There globes in the dash not leds, so source 12v leds or normal led and resistor.

Yea give me a hoy if your interested, ill be doing the Sierra ones first. I had a quick chat with the sign writer today, there are a few options for vinyl, not sure how much these are going to cost, but I wouldn't mind doing them properly with a few layers. I don't currently own a Sierra sadly, but a month or two things will change, but I have the time to give these a bang.
How did the dash change in shape over time? What colours are we looking at, you all want the white background? Also does the sierra have a back light to it? or is it projected from the front? Send us a piccy of your current dash would be nice too if you have the time.
Cheers, Brodie J

Give me a couple of weeks to work out the best way of doing this, not sure if vinyl is the best way yet. May be other options. Do we want it shiny? or matt?

I'd be keen for matt guages as my car Zook is matt black.
That vynil cutter looks

matt would be kooler and look more stock. but yea i would pay 50 if they turn out good no problem.
awesome idea
would be kool if it matched my crappy gearing as my spedo is off by miles atm lol.
